About the Project
As part of my internship at the University of Akron Press, I designed a series of social media graphics for use across the Press's platforms. The posts ranged from book advertisements to promotional sale announcements, each requiring a different visual approach while staying consistent with the UA Press brand.
For the book adverts, the challenge was distilling each title's identity into a single compelling graphic — balancing cover imagery, author information, and tone in a format optimized for social media. The sale posts required a more urgent, promotional feel while still feeling intentional and on-brand rather than generic.
Across the series, I focused on maintaining a cohesive visual language — consistent typography, color usage, and layout structure — so that each post felt like part of a unified campaign rather than a collection of one-offs.
